Position: Sennebogen Crane Operator
General Skills Required:
1 year of experience operating Sennebogen Crane machinery
Ability to operate a Sennebogen 825 or 835 material handler / grapple crane, Pile driving experience is a plus, for loading and unloading trucks and separating materials
Ability to operate additional heavy equipment is a plus
Ability to tear down and set up of crane and move in and out of crane from one location to the next
Able to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites. Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members
Some understanding of steel recycling materials is a plus but not necessarily
Ability to maintain daily logs of equipment usage, etc
General Requirements for Employment:
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Have reliable transportation
Ability to work Monday through Friday
Ability to work overtime as necessary such as extended workdays and/or weekends
Ability to work outdoors in variety of weather conditions
Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit or stand for long periods, handle, and manipulate objects on repetitive basis.
Able to follow safety policies and procedures
Ability to identify, report and correct hazards
Able to communicate effectively with all site personnel
Ability to take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects
Ability to keep maintenance of the equipment including greasing and keep daily logs
Able to work in a fast-paced growing business environment
Not afraid to get dirty
Other duties may be assigned
Ability to performer the task maintaining all health, safety and environmental rules and ensure all work is done in a manner which enhance the safety of the work environment
Able to work outside in all weather conditions, and various locations, hard hat and eye protection required.
Pay Rate: DOE
This is a full-time position with benefit options.
